業務上のいろいろなやり取りをする上での手段ですが
メールでというのは通常のパターンです。
複数のアカウント、アドレスを持っているのがいまでは普通ですし
複数のプロジェクトを複数の人間でやり取りしていると
過去の関連した発言をメール送受信の中から探すときには大変骨が折れます。
そこで、掲示板なら複数の人間が見ることができますし、
時系列に整理されますので、見返すときにメールアプリケーションでのように
メールボックスで振り分けることや検索しなくてもよいので便利です。
（Wordpress/ダッシュボード/設定/ディスカッションで
最新のコメントを先頭に持ってくることも可能）
反面、添付ファイル（画像）が投稿できない、コメントが編集できない。
などの不具合があります。
そこでそれらの不具合をを解消しつつ、便利に使えないかと思って
「Wordpress プラグイン コメント 添付ファイル」で検索して、
Comment ImegeとAjax Edit Commentを見つけました。
これですと、コメン文が投稿者でも編集できますし、
（編集可能時間を設定できます。）
また、添付ファイル（Jpegだけですが）投稿も可能です。
（画像の原寸が大きい場合には見にくいですのでサムネールが設定してあります。）
機能としてはbbpressが便利なのですが多機能故に投稿者の方から
面倒すぎる！と不評でしたのでこちらにしてみました。
